My Asus X441N Laptop cannot project.

When I connect my Asus X441N laptop to the Acer projector through either vga or hdmi, it doesn't project any features from my laptop.
But when my friend connect her ASUS X441N laptop to the same projector, it automatically projects to the projector what has been there on her laptop. I am wondering what's the reason. I already click the "project second screen" or even the "duplicate" but it still did not project. Please help me.

Does the laptop see the projector as a second screen if you look at the display options? Check Asus web site for video drivers for your model and run them.

Sir, I think I click all the possible options at the SETTINGS, but it didn't project. Someone said that the problem is the one you mention, the driver.
Thank you for your response sir. I just wanted to make sure if I will just update the driver.
I will look some videos. Thanky!
