Question My audio is missing.

I switched to a better case and after putting everything back into the new one my audio is not working.

I tried the front and back - It doesn't work.

I tried updating my drivers and even reinstalled windows - It doesn't work.

I even tried to unplug every component it my PC and rebuild it again- IT DOESN'T WORK!

PLS HELP!!



How did it work in my old case, but not in my new one?

If your audio is missing from the back panel of your motherboard it has nothing to do with your new case. Have your looked in "Control Panel > Sound > Playback" to see if your speakers are set as the default playback device?

Only thing that's on in my Playback is my HDMI monitor, the speakers/headphones are grey with no option to be put in default playback device.
My pc just doesn't seem to detect my headphones
I also searched in the bios settings but there was no setting for the audio.

What is the name of your motherboard?
If you go to " Control Panel > Device Manager > Audio inputs and outputs", are speakers listed?
If you go to " Control Panel > Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers", what is listed?

MSI-A320M PRO-M2 V2
Audio Inputs / outputs - 3 x nvidia output + my monitor and speakers
it says that they are not plugged which is strange, because they are plugged in.
(btw recently bought the gpu but it worked fine before the new case).

i was wrong my speakers are not listed in the device manager, they are listed in the control panel

Is Realtek Audio listed under "Control Panel > Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers"?

I already tried that, didn't help. ;/
