Well to start things off my cousin decided it would be a good idea to dismantle my computer cause he was mad at my friend. Long story short my PC no longer has any working audio ports. The front ports do not function at all while the back ports will detect that I plugged in a headset/microphone. I have tested the headset it is not that. I have reinstalled the drivers and even tested each and every audio device on the pc to make sure I wasnt simply over looking it. The back ports tell me a device has been plugged in but then refuses to play any audio and the microphone does not play any sound whats so ever. I have tried using this headset on another pc and there is no issues. My motherboard is a SRock Z77 Extreme4 Motherboard.

Solution
try the playing audio, and Hardware & devices troubleshooters. if they ask you to restart pc, do it and then redo same troubleshooter as it can take a bit to get them to work.

Its possible they are disabled. I had a similar problem recently when only one speaker channel was working, it took several runs of the troubleshooters before i got 5.1

Do you have the latest realtek audio drivers?
