my Belkin Range extender no longer is lighting up?

My
Belkin range extender is not lighting up no more. Does that mean it is no good anymore?

Plug something else in to the same wall socket (eg a table lamp) to test that the socket is working.

Does the extender have a cable with mains plug, or is it a direct plug-in type?

Then it has no internal fuse like a regular mains plug. Thought it may have blown, obviously not applicable.

My verdict is that the Belkin device is dead but I could be wrong - - does it show up in available networks?

No it does not anymore. Thank-you for all the feed back. I pretty much think it is dead too,but I just thought I would get some more input.

Showing no lights, not listed in available networks - - dead in my opinion.

I wouldn't replace it with another Belkin - - - I got a plug-in Netgear one 18 months ago, never had any issues with it:
