Question My BenQ gl2460BH displays weird squares and color banding

So my benQ display has color banding even though all settings are set to the recommended in both display controls and nvidia panel; second thing is related to weird tiny squares of color when display dark colors, say black hair, here´s an example of it :

The second thing: You sure it's not just compression fragments in the video? Have you tried watching the same video on another display, and checking for the same issue? Does it happen with dark colors in all video sources?

happens even in games, youtube, prime video so i assume its all sources unfortunately

Try to locate problem and focus on one thing at a time.
First, focus on the cheap option. It may be a wonky cable. Try replacing the cable with another one. Try all possible cable combinations you can use, and see if it helps.

okey i will try and find another hdmi cable, and ill try the vga cable that came with the display.
