My bios won't let me overclock

My bios won't let me overclock my athlon x4 640 3 ghz and I've tried AMD overdrive and it doesn't let me change the settings, so how would I overclock?

What motherboard? And is it OEM or retail?

I can't find any manual for a reatil version of that board just the OEM HP version which like most OEM boards is locked down(no overclocking features). Foxconns support site seems to be MIA.

Thanks saved me alot of research. I do alot of overclocking and this is the first time I've had issues.

Yeah I looked too. Nothing. I guess Foxconn figures they make enough money being an OEM parts vendor to a lot of retail board makers (ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, ASRock...and then there's Apple products) they don't need to worry about direct sales support too much from lowly single household system builders. Reminds me of dealing with Nvidia directly.
