my boot sequence doesn't show up when i put my 8.1 disk in drive any help anyone????

no boot sequence showing up when i restart my pc for the boot sequence to show up for!!!!!!!!!!!

there should be a F key to push on your keyboard to view what you can boot to. It will depend on the maker of your laptop. I believe HP is like ESC and Dell is F12. I really don't remember the others.
