[SOLVED] My Brand New ASUS RX506L won't boot with the memory I have

I recently purchased an ASUS RX506L gaming laptop that came with stock 8GB 3200MHz DDR4 SODIMM ram, with the intention of putting 32GB of ram instead (2 x 16GB, the cpu / board supports up to 64 GB) however the two sticks I have are 2666 and the system doesn't boot with either one or both sticks installed.. Is there anyway to fix this? like force it to boot with the slower ram? I don't have the money to get faster sticks as i already had these and I know they're working because I was using them until i got the laptop

Is the system just not posting at all? or are your monitors just not turning on; are they not detecting an output?

It was just flashing me an rgb keyboard with no LCD output and no external monitor keyboard but this was before setting up windows
I think its working now thanks for the help!
