My buddy watered his rig

K so my friend spilled water onto his computer, and he's not sure which parts are fried, I have the same platform as him(AM3 890FX) and I was wondering, if I put his parts onto my motherboard (after drying) to see if they work, is it possible to damage my motherboard? It's the ROG Crosshair IV Formula so I'm a little bit worried.

I think you will be safe

the water conducting current where it was not supposed to be did the damage . If things are dry they will either work or not work in your system
