Finally decided on my build. As of now i am building the pc for 1080p gaming at max setting at good fps. I will upgrade my monitor and GPU(if rx 480) to 1440p after a year or so.

Motherboard : Asus Maximus VIII Ranger
CPU : i7 6700k
RAM : Corsair lpx 2400 (1 x 8) (will buy another 8gb later)
Cooler : Hyper Evo 212x
Harddisk : 2TB WD blue (came down from wd black for budget)
PSU : Seasonic M12II 750w
Cabinet : Corsair carbide 400R
GPU : AMD rx 480 (Will confirm after seeing benchmarks) or gtx 1070
Monitor : Aoc G2260VWQ6(if rx 480)

Please clear my doubts:

1. Is above motherboard enough for overclocking 6700k to 4.7 if i get lucky chip?. Does it have any bios issues like Asus z170 pro gaming? If u can pls suggest me good Motherboard as this with lower budget if any?

2. I heard there are compatibility issues with Asus MB and Corsair rams. If its true pls suggest me a good DDR4 ram around the same price.

3. Does the cooler fit on the motherboard without block any ram slot or any other?

4. I will overclock CPU and GPU. i may Crossfire(Polaris) or SLI(gtx 10 series) in future. Will the above PSU is good for everything? Does the PSU work with Skylake processors without any issues?

5. Is the cabinet good and spacious for the above componets. For cooler or Multi gpu build?
If not can u pls suggest any other good cabinet around same price or lower.

Finally, pls guide me if there is anything wrong with my build.

Thanks in advance.

nice rig.
Here are few tips to make it balanced:
1. You don't need i7 for gaming. i5 will do the same and cost 100$ less.
2. Excellent MB and yet, you can get 50$ cheaper one that will do the same in terms of overclocking.
3. On the saved money - get 2x8GB kit.
4. If you really want to overclock, you need better CPU cooling. I personaly like the Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 (within sane budget).
5. I'd go for Fractal Design Define S to have great airflow, cable management and easy placement of components. Also great looking.

An SSD is always nice to install your OS on (or other things), way faster! But thats not necessary, it's a bit more expensive but you don't need a TB ssd, more like 250 or even less depends on your budget

thank u for response.
i am going for i7 6700k because i want my system to last atleast 5yrs or more.

U said that i can get a 50$ Cheaper one. can u suggest me few.

I dont want to go to liquid cooling because of the maintence and tube likage and other issues which may occur.

U havent said anything about PSU related question

As for cabinet it isnt available in my country(india).

some parts are not availble in india like above cabinet and Artic liquid cooler.

Oh ok, thats great!

i7 will not make the system last longer than i5. There very few applications that benefit from i7 features.
Here is an example of cheaper MB that will nicely overclock your CPU. http://pcpartpicker.com/product/KgJkcf/asus-motherboard-z170progaming
The PSU you have chosen is of very good quality and will have no problem to power single GPU system even with extreme overclock.
As for the cooler, I'm not an expert with air coolers, but with one you mentioned, I doubt you'll be able to achieve even 4.5GHz. You live in a hot country, and you need an excellent cooler to get decent overclock.

Thanx for the response.
I decided on i7 6700k beacuse i do multi tasking while playing games. Gaming, Streaming, other applications etc. So i just dont want to feel any lag.

Z170 Pro gaming was my first choice. but it had many -ve reviews about Bios and few about bad quality. So i lowered my budget in harddisk(WD Black to Blue) and upped my MB to Maximus VIII Ranger.

ya i live in a hot country. But i wont be doing any extreme overclocking as of now just decent 4.4 or 4.5. i have seen many reviews about hyper evo 212, which said its decent cooler for decent OC. If not i had to go to Noctua air cooler which are costly.
