Question my build starts but doesnt show anything on screen

i start up my pc and all the fans start and also the red rgb works too but after a few seconds i hear one long beep and two short beeps. i have looked online and i have seen that i need a vga cable the ram is bad or incompatible or the graphics card is bad or damaged or the motherboard is damaged or bad
my motherboard is the asus prime b450 plus and my graphics card is the asus dual gtx1060 6g.

Full specs, including make/model of PSU, and possibly monitor model, may be helpful. Ram could be the culprit. Unplug the system, and make sure the ram is seated properly. If it is, try a single stick at a time.

One long beep + two short on Asus boards indicates a RAM error, possibly a faulty stick of RAM or as per advice above from logainofhades.
If you suspect faulty RAM you can test each stick separately with Memtest86: https://www.memtest86.com/download.htm

I would return the ram, if you can, and get a faster speed. It sounds like it is faulty anyway. Ryzen needs at least 3000.

my pc works now. the ram wasnt fully in but a friend helped me and it went in fully and works now. im going to make a new question on gpus after this.
