[SOLVED] my C: drive is filling up while playing games

Solution
specs are:
Intel i7 4770k
GTX 750 TI
asus Z87 A motherboard
8 GB ram ddr3
PSU thermaltake 500w
250 GB SSD for windows and some games
1 TB HDD for others

its likely the page file growing while he plays games based on 8gb of ram. windows will move as much of itself and other closed program data onto page file if the game needs the space. It is normal. If it gives it back once game is stopped, its doing what its designed to do.

Best fix is buy more ram.

Disk caching is not abnormal with games, especially if you have limited RAM. Knowing your system specs might help. Having a larger secondary SSD on which to install your games might be a solution too.
