Question My cables keep dropping in speed

I have 2 ethernet cables in my room which both worked great for months until recently they dropped to 10/10 download/upload normally we have 500/500 i decided to try a third cable which seemed to work fine i had the full internet speed for a few hours until they also dropped to 10/ 10 and i really dont know why i tried everything i know of to fix this issue but nothing seems to be working

Probably not the cable(s) you are using.

Look at the other devices, cables, and connections leading to your room.

Modem

Router

Switches

Access points, etc.,

Update your post to include more information: ISP, modem, router, etc.. Makes, models, and how connected.

The router's logs (if available and enabled) may provide some clue. Who has full admin rights to the router?

You will need help from that person.

But there is no problem with my brothers pc that is linked up to the exact same
