[SOLVED] My camera is only uploading 6 minutes of a 24 minute video any thoughts.

I am trying to import video footage that is 24 minutes long, but it is only uploading 5 or 6 minutes of it any advice on how to fix it

My camera is a cannon eos m50 and I was uploading it to Microsoft photos, and no It did not crash. i imported it by plugging in a usb and turning on the camera which then made me decide which photos or video to upload.

OK, I have that same application. Only used it a couple of times.

Give me a few mins to try to replicate this.
Let me record a long video from my Fuji and see what happens.

14 min 30 sec video (that is the max video length from my Fuji)
3.87GB file size
.mov file type.

Import with MS Photo, to the /Pictures library.
All 14:30 sec imported. Verified in the Photo app and with VLC.

So, it works for me.

What is the file type from your Canon?
How much free space is on your C drive or partition?
Is it the exact same length each time, or does it vary?

It says fhd 23.98 is the movie record size.
my c drive has 63gb left of space
and I have not tried short video to see but I have tried longer video than 24 minutes and it still didnt work.

I figured it out all I had to do was go to the edit Icon on my eos m50 click save and then click new file and click compress and save. It worked like a charm. Thanks for helping everyone.

i think the file may had been corrupted or I accidently had it on raw
