My canon pixma ip3000 printer is only printing in black and yellow

I replaced the cyan cartridge in this printer... nothing else and now it prints fine in black, but the only color it will print is yellow

Not to be nit picky, but if there was a sticker/cover over the bottom of the cartridge, did you remove it?

sure did but remember the magenta is suddenly not printing either

I have just run into the same problem, except I didn't replace any cartridges, and it worked fine yesterday - all 4 colors. Today only yellow (and black or greyscale) I have a Pixma MG5220.
