My case fan doesn't work

My Noctua NF-A14 case fan doesn't work on my SYS_FAN header.
I have the Gigabyte F2A78M-DS2 mobo with a CS450M psu which should be enough.

The fan is rated at 6,6 watts and the header should have enough power, shouldn't it?

Have you tested the fan on a different motherboard or a different header on your motherboard?

Do you have any molex-to-fan-3pin adapters? If so you could hook it up directly to the PSU to see if something's wrong with the fan.

I have tested the fan on my CPU_FAN header and it perfectly works. It's brand new as well. That's why I'm sure its not the fan's state that's the problem.

Thanks for the help but then it would go at full speed.
I think I'll jsut wait until I have a new mobo.

You can buy a cheap fan controller and your good to go.
