my check-spelling isn't working on my lenovo yoga pro 3

Hi guys,
my check-spelling isn't working on my lenovo yoga pro 3 machine it works only on the word document . I seem to be miss-writing every word, as all of them are being underlined. How do I solve this problem? when you type mispelt word on google , mozilla or in both gmails and yahoo. isnt showing I just want to see this fixed, please help?

there is no global spell checker, it depends on the apps.

In google Chrome, look in settings/advanced settings/language - click the language and input settings button.
Make sure Use this language for spell checking is ticked next to language you use.

Firefox - look in about: preferences#advanced - delete space between : & p , its only there to stop this smilie
General tab/Browsing and see if Check my spelling as I type is ticked
