I need some help in deciding. I like the features of the Fuji S7000
with its 6.3mpx. 1.8in LCD and 6X zoom

But the new Kodak model which is 5.0mpx AND has a 2.2in LCD screen
along with 10X zoom

I'm not a BIG camera buff, but I do like the features of both.

Does anybody have any insight?

Their both priced about the same now at around $435 USD.

Thanx

Paul

I've been a photographer all my life. Leicas, Nikon, Rolleis...Now I have a
Kodak 6490. It is screaming sharp, easy to use and makes dazzzling images. I
would go with the Kodak.

I have the Kodak 7490 and am more than satisfied with it. I also have the
6440 but wanted the 10X Zoom. I went to Kodak initially for their dock
system which comes with the 7490. By storing the camera on the dock,
downloading to the computer is simplified and the batteries are always fully
charged.
