[SOLVED] my CM Storm devastator mouse isn't working well

First things first Hello,
so yeah as the title says my mouse has stopped moving 2 days ago (it clicks just fine)
then I noticed the red led on the bottom isn't working so I grabbed my soldering iron and a red LED diode but the LEDs I got are colored unlike the one that was in it which is transparent that glows red anyways.., I soldered in a new LED and IT WORKED!!
but here's the issue
it isn't as responsive to the little movements
do I need that transparent LED to fix it?

You would probably need to buy a specific LED in order for it to work. They probably use one with a specific level of brightness so the sensor can pick it up.

guess i'll just buy a new one instead
