My comp restart everytime I stress test my gpu or when I try to start a game

Hi if anybody can help me. My comp is only a year old, but it started restarting randomly when I play games (dota2) and when I try to stress test with XTU it restarted without any warning.

Here is my spec
Intel i7-4970k 4ghz 8mb lga1150
Gigabyte z97mx-gaming mobo
Corsair vs650 psu
Gigabyte gtx970 4gb
Transcend SSD 256gb
Crucial 8gb ram ddr3
Toshiba 1tb hdd
Corsair 300r carbine series

It sounds to me your power supply is failing or some memory has become unstable likely on the card best guess more likely the PSU, can you test the card in another PC or borrow a PSU? You could run memtest to rule out system RAM but I think its unlikely, also you could run Prime95 or intel burn test to see what happens. Or try running dota 2 with the on board graphics and see what happens.

Is anything overclocked? Set it to stock speeds for testing if it is. Outside of that see the above post.

nope nothing is overclocked. It just started happen recently, even before I try stress test. even i set everything to lowest graphic still unplayable without randomly restarting
