My computer audio is crackling when my ethernet cable is plugged in

Whenever my Ethernet cable is plugged in to my computer the audio is very static. As soon as I unplug it the sound goes away

Where is your router located? I had my route next to my speaker and had crackling sound. It took a while to figure out the router was causing my speaker crackling.

It's not really close to my speakers, I even moved it further and still crackle. I'm thinking it could be the ethernet cable

Maybe a short. Maybe dust on the inside of ports or case. Have you cleaned out the inside of your PC with canned air recently

No I haven't cleaned it out, but I have a hunch it's the cable. I am going to replace the cable today and see

Got it fixed, it was the Ethernet cable needing to be replaced
