*Sometimes* when my computer is on, and only when it is on, the router will decide to block access for other people on my network. This includes all wireless users on the network. Wired connections work fine.
This happens on Windows and Ubuntu, so it's not a bandwidth hogging problem.
Other times, it decides to work fine and not block people.
I have ruled out all possibilities of the problem: The old Mac (lol) didn't cause any problems. I bought a new router and it still persists. The problem only happens when the computer is turned on, goes away when the computer shuts off, and **comes back instantly the instant the computer is switched on.** It's gotta be the computer. Even if I unhook my Ethernet connection, the problem persists.
I'm clueless on what to do. It's been happening ever since I build this computer in October.
If you need any other information about my setup/etc, please ask. I want to solve this!! thanks
First post, woo.
