My computer can't run games well

I recently put some new parts into a pc, im not super good with parts but i know the basics and how to put a pc together. Im having problems running games even on low settings im not sure if its specs maybe cpu? here for some insight

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.1GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8170MB RAM

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

930 GB HDD

550W evga power supply

I have drivers up to date

Depens on which games you are trying to play ( i guess 1080p resolution)
Post some games which dont run very well

Well PUBG is very bad optimized and its very cpu heavy
Try to set settings to medium ( cause low settings uses more cpu power)
Also check cpu temps while playing
