I am not really sure if it is my GPU or my CPU. What happens is, after an hour or two of playing a video game like Apex Legends, Call of Duty, Valorant, my screen shuts off and then my CPU fan and GPU fan start going really loud. I can hear the game and I can still talk to my friends on discord, but the image won't show up. If I try to restart my computer, the windows logo as it boots becomes a strip of blue lines and then the computer crashes again. I have to wait like, 5 minutes or so before the restart will actually boot an image properly. I will attach an image. Is this the GPU or CPU? Is it because of temperatures? The GPU I have is the RTX 3080 Aorus Master, CPU is the Ryzen 9 5900x. I did not overclock anything. The cooler I have for the CPU is the Noctua NH D15.

Now, a lot of people told me that my power supply was the reason I was crashing. So I got a 1000w Asus Rog Strix PSU. Yet, I still crashed. Anyone have recommendations for a PSU that doesn't crash their GPU? If this is actually a GPU related problem. At this point, I am not really sure what part is causing the crashing.

usually when fans switch to FULL SPEED , it would suggest a driver/hardware failure .
if u do have blue strips upon reboot , I would recommend trying another GPU , it could definitely be something wrong with it .
To add on, I was told daisy link can cause crashing with GPUs? This Asus Rog Strix PSU only has daisy link cables. So, can I use 3 daisy link cables to plug into each 8 pin header? Or does the cable have to only have 1, 8 pin header?

Your PSU is a good one so I don't think it is the cause of your crashes. I would suspect high temperatures. Use HWiNFO64 to monitor the temperature of your graphics card under load

Do you think it could be the CPU? The CPU fans AND the GPU fans go very loud when this crash happens. Then I have to wait 5 or so minutes to restart my pc. Or is that image I linked above GPU related?

How exactly did you cable the PSU to the GPU? You should use 3x 6+2 cables from 3x pcie ports on the PSU to the GPU, doesnt matter if the cable splits, you only use one.
Monitor your CPU and GPU temperature to pinpoint the problem

Edit: Did you use the cables that came with the PSU?
