My Computer Crashes Everytime I Play a Game for 2 minutes

Hi guys, i have a pretty good computer and and i use to be able to play games for hours upon hours, now i can only play games for 2-3 minutes before my computer just turns off completely. it doesn't restart it just turns of completely and it doesn't beep or anything.

I have tried formatting my computer and reinstall windows i had windows 7 before but now i have windows 10 the same problem was on windows 7 so i just upgraded.

One thing to note is that this only happens with steam games. Because i can play League Of Legends for hours The games i play are: CounterStrike:GlobalOffensive, The Culling

Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor 3.50 GHz
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce G1 GAMING GTX 960 4GB
Ram: 8GB

Make sure your CPU isn't overheating. If you overclocked, make sure it's stable too.

I haven't overclocked anything and according to a program called CoreTemp my cpu was at 40-41 °C when it crashed.

and the gpu temps? what the make and model of the psu?

Check your GPU temps. If it looks normal then I'd say it's a PSU issue or even the motherboard.

Hm.. Can you try with another PSU?

I definately suspect the PSU is the issue normally overheating would get a slow down 1st and that make is crap.
