My computer died overnight??? Help?

I went to bed last night and shut my computer down as normal, nothing out of the ordinary happened. However when I got home from school my computer wouldn't turn on. Pressing the power button did nothing, and I switched to many different outlets and it still wouldn't turn on. What could have happened to it?
