my computer doesn't boot up, psu died?

hi, i was some days out of home, i have a gaming pc and i just clicked on the buttom "power" but it doesn't do nothing..


I have my psu since 2'5 years ago. Maybe it 's the problem? How can i know this is the problem?
My pc specs are:

sapphire 480 oc (10 days only purchased)
Motherboard Make and model; e.g. Asrock Z87 Pro3
CPU/APU Make and model number; e.g. Intel Core i5-4570 3.2Ghz Box
Power Supply Unit Make, Model & Wattage E.g. Tacens Radix VI 650W
RAM Amount of memory installed; e.g. 8 GB

hey, I'm guessing your PC has booted up successfully since you started using your 480?

Just trying to think logically here, but I'd maybe try with the easy steps first;

- Plug something else into the power socket to ensure power in general is working.
- Try a different PC power cable. (One from your monitor or another device with the same cable?)
- Check (and possibly reseat) the power cables within your PC.
- Remove unnecessary components such as graphics card, additional internal drives, extra ram modules, etc and try power on.

Note - When I say unnecessary components I'm meaning just have the bare minimum connected for power and boot up tests- so motherboard, boot drive, and using on board graphics.

Failing that, I don't know personally know what else you can really test without having other components such as a spare PSU, motherboard, etc to hand to try and switch over.

I tried a different pc power cable and nothing happends.

I tried to plug in a different site and same.

I remove the 480 oc and nothing happends.

I should give it to a technicall professional?

Def is my psu, i should replace it, what do you recommend guys?

I don't have a lot of expertise in PSU's, I personally have a Corsair RM850 which is overkill for my setup but it was going at a good price when I bought it so couldn't turn it down.

I am sure others will be able to advise better than myself but you could use a calculator such as;
