Hello I've recently buy new memory it's Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8GB at 3600mhz, my motherboard are an Z270 Tomahawk Artic.
The motherboard can support max 3800mhz OC, but the problem is that when I want to put on the xmp or without it manualy the computer didn't boot at all.
I can go max at 3466mhz, can somebody help me to fix it out ? My two memory rams are on the slot 2/4.

My entirely setup :

I7 7700K
Rtx 3070 OC
Z270 Tomahawk Artic.
Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8GB at 3600mhz

Thx.

Processor model? You might want to also check and see which BIOS version you're on at the moment. Take note to populate the correct slots on your motherboard for your rams, i.e slots A2 and B2 as stated in your manual.

If you're on the latest BIOS and the highest you can go with those rams is DDR4-3466MHz, then that's the highest your Integrated memory controller will allow you to go unless you're holding back on voltages and relaxing the timings on the rams, when going manually in BIOS.

Hey thanks for the answer, about the bios I got the 7A68vB6 version (the latest).
About the processor model it's the LGA1151 socket (I7 7700K), it support at least 7th generation not more.
Verified the manual and the ram are at the good spot.
Did if I downgrade my bios version I can go to 3600mhz ?
I don't really know how set up timings and voltage correctly never touched on memory.

Yeah it's stable, the prob is that even in the bios I can't save the new speed and timings value.
I put the new values it said 1.400 but at the end it keeping the old one even if It's not on auto.
