Issue: Computer freezes randomly- the screen and application is frozen, and move cursor cannot be moved. Sometimes the computer will last 2 hours, sometimes 2minutes. It has been sporadic as it freezes while under heavy load from games, music, movies or even sitting idle.

Also, my motherboard gets extremely warm, and when it freezes, my fans start spinning like hell.

When i put in a SSHD it does not freeze. I have tried multiple other HD drives, but it does it to em all. Can it be true, that my pc only will handle SSHD?

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
AMD FX-9590
Sapphire Radeon R9 390 8GB GDDR5 NITRO
HyperX Fury DDR3 1866MHz 16GB
Corsair CX850M, 850W PSU
Corsair Hydro Series H55 CPU Køler
Windows 10, 64 bit

The temperatures are always around 50 C

power supplys seem to always be the issue for me. I've had 2 past computers, and currently my new pc that has weird issues. Power supplues can cause an array of problems that can be hard to pinpoint. but in all my experience, its my PSU in all cases. Could be memory, could be ur pcu is overheating, needs new thermal paste applied.

The sitting idle and freezing seems odd, but i'd first run MEMTEST, then some video card Benchmarkings. But im jsut calling it out. Prolly power supply.

And i doubt your SSD vs HDD has effect, only that id see making a diff is the amount of power an HDD needs versus an SSD.
