My computer freezes on starting windows screen

I have rum memtest, new power supply, tried hard drive in different computer, changed video cards, cleared cmos, and changed bios to fail-safe, but evertime it just keeps freezing at the same spot. Can you please tell me if you think the cpu or motherboard are bad or is there something else I could try?

Need to know mobo, CPU (and any OC), DRAM (model #), PSU, GPU to start with

corsair 6400c4, Amd socket AM2, AN-AM2, 450w psu, msi R5770, the computer used to work fine, one day it just froze, ever since then it keeps freezing on the same point. I did a clean install of windows 7 to this hard drive on another computer also.

Have you updated all the latest mobo drivers for this mobo into Win

How can I do that, no floppy drive, is there another way to update the bios?
