My computer freezes seemingly randomly when playing games. It's not overheating according to msi afterburner. When it crashes a loud crackling sound can be heard from the headphones. The computer is fairly new and selfbuilt. I want to know why it does this and how it can be fixed. Would appreciate any help given, thanks in advance!
Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3,5GHz
PSU: Corsair RM750x 750W ATX 80+ gold
Motherboard: Asus z170 pro gaming
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO Basic SSD 500GB
OS: Windows 10
Cooler: Cooler Master HYPER 212 EVO
RAM: Corsair Ballistix ddr4 2x4 gb

Solution
This could be caused by the NVIDIA card not playing nice with MSI Afterburner. Did you recently update your NVIDIA driver? If so I would roll back to the previous driver or get rid of the MSI afterburner.
