My computer freezes when i use my keyboard

Hello,I experienced some problems with my PC. One day it froze when I tried to type with my keyboard. The mouse works fine. A friend told me to go to device manager and uninstall the keyboard's driver, so that it may work again. I uninstalled the driver, but now my keyboard is useless and keeps freezing the PC whenever I hit any key. The keyboard is a A4TECH KBS 720, which apparently doesn't need a driver to work. I'm kind of confused. Can you please help me?

Is the keyboard USB or PS2?
