Hi,
My Computer won't wake up for some reason. I set my computer to never sleep but still goes to sleep and doesn't wake up. The computer is still running but it doesn't display anything. Even when I bang on the keys it still doesn't. HELP!!!!

Solution
Ok, is it just happened one time or time and time again ? Fan's spinning doesn't mean the computer is running. You said your stroke the keys to wake it up but nothing happened, so what you did to wake it up ? Hard reset ? If that is true than check the PSU fan if it is spinning or not. Or your GPU. How old is it ? Check the CMOS battery. Can you please post your system specs. Please keep us posted.
It's not the psu because the computer is still on and the fans are spinning. My ram are seated on 2 and 4 (can't use 1 because the cooler is in the way). And the gpu is seated in there nicely. I've been gaming and everything works its just when I leave it to download overnight, the display turns even when the monitor still shows on and the computer stays on with the fans spinning.

This issue is happening to me as well. My computer is an HP 3130 MT and running 64 bit Windows 7 Pro. It has 8GB Ram with an i5 Processor. This issue is also causing that when I try to login remotely to the computer I get an error that they cant find the computer which I usually get if the computer is off.

Is it an i5 Haswell? If it is a custom built machine, make sure that the PSU is Haswell compliant since Haswell's have a specific energy saving mode that might be detected as a different mode by the PSU due to the low energy use.

Edit: I didn't notice that you posted the computer model; that takes care of compatibility, so disregard my previous comment! lol.
By the way... since your computer seems to be running and you don't see anything, it could even be a compatibility issue with your monitor. If you have access to any other monitor, give it a try. The monitor might not be waking up properly. If that doesn't do it, reseat the RAM and GPU (if the GPU is separate). I doubt it's the CMOS since your computer will prompt you to reset back to default BIOS settings if it was loose or running low on juice. Let us know how it goes!
