Hello,
My computer has all of the files associated ONLY with Internet Explorer to open them??? How do I fix this?? Please help, I cannot een do a system restore, etc... thanks!

To change what program a file will open up with, go to control panel, and then set it to classic view in the top right.

Click on Default Programs and you can set what you want as your default programs in there.

True that. Can download Kaspersky Rescue CD for free and boot to it for cleanup (if that's what it is) prior to trying to fix everything.

Had a similar thing couple of years ago - made every exe launch the malware asking me to pay to fix it... yay.
