It was early in the morning, and my computer turned on fine, so had a shower and came back to enter my password into windows, as soon as this happened my power went out, i heard a popping noise. After that my computer doesn't work, like my mouse would normally light up if there was power to my pc, i swiched power cables and everything.

I have a 850w pcu
4 core APU
r9270 graphics card
2tb storage
128gb ssd
and a 212 evo hypercooler.

I don't know if i need a new/bigger pcu, help please.

Hi

If PSU failed and caused mains fuse to blow then you will need to replace PSU
and hope nothing else was damaged.
If you are unlucky the failing PSU can destroy motherboard and all other components.

See if there is a smell of burn plastic coming from [dead] PSU.

If Mains failed and that caused PC to switch off then it is less likely serious damage has been caused.
clearing the cmos using jumper may enable system to start

the 850W PSU should be more than powerfull enough to support a R9 270 GPU
but if a cheap no name brand not as good as a 600W quality brand
