My computer is constantly in startup repair!

My computer is constantly in startup repair and when it finishes it goes to reboot and goes back to the startup repair its been doing this for 3 hrs and i want to know how to end this! please help before this it goes Windows is loading files but when it's finished it goes to startup repair... this happens every time!

unplug and replug your hard drive and reboot. (may or may not work)
