Hey guys!

I'm having a problem with my computer when I game. I have recently built a new computer and I'm haveing a few issues. I like to play games on my computer. When I boot up games and load it in my entire computer becomes unresponsive. All the sounds stop Skype stops working the game stops moving and the clock stops on the computer. These problems just started. I reinstalled windows and the problem persists. My computer can handle it because I run at 700 fps normally when the games do work. I will list my components below.

Computer components

Kingston digital hyperx fury 240 gb SSD
windows 7 home premium OS
corsair c series 750 watt ATX modular Power Supply
EVGA GeForce gtx 970 super clocked with evga ATX cooler GPU
Amd fx-9590 CPU
Asus M5a99fx pro r2 am3+ Mother board
Corsair vengeance 16 GB (2x8gb) pc3 RAM
antec 900 case
Cooler master hyper 212 Evo cpu cooler

I really hope you can help me answer this question.

Have you tried reseating the RAM and CMOS battery in the computer? Just pull them out for a minute or two (with the computer off of course) and put them back in then restart the computer. If that doesn't help, you may try reseating the CPU and reapplying thermal paste (Arctic Silver works well to keep the heat down).
