[SOLVED] My computer is only using 5.9 GB of ram

i have a 1x8 gb 3000 mb stick from patriot and in task manger it only shows 5.9 gb available. any suggestions on how to fix this?

5.9GB is available because the other 2.1GB is already in use by Windows. There's no problem here.
