[SOLVED] My computer is underperforming for some reason?

I have a RTX 3080 GPU and an i7-10700k CPU, and my computer can't reach 240 fps on any game. Valorant is 170 fps, Halo is 120, and Overwatch is 200. I'm unsure if games are incorrectly using my integrated GPU still, even after changing my settings so that wouldn't happen anymore. My gpu utilization doesn't seem to be high and my cpu never goes over 70 degrees celsius, which makes me think it isn't pushing that hard either. I'm unsure why the performance has fallen down so far compared to what it was. Also, I make sure to never have anything open in the background.

Your system is using the iGPU of the CPU. Enter BIOS and change to your dedicated GPU.

Your system is using the iGPU of the CPU. Enter BIOS and change to your dedicated GPU.

Alright, so going into my BIOS, I go into graphics configuration and change my Primary Display from "CPU Graphics" to "PCIE", and the change pops up as I save, but when I restart and check the benchmark, nothing changes. So I go back into my BIOS to find that it's reset back to "CPU Graphics". I change each time to a different setting, "Auto", "PEG", "PCIE", and I save, pops up that it's saving the changes, but in the end it doesn't at all. My benchmark still isn't using my 3080. The weirder part is that in the benchmark test for graphics, it shows that it's using my 3080 for the test. Thank you for your reply.

Okay I ran the benchmark again, and read "WARN: skipping NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 - unable to locate attached display". I hadn't read it before because it always closes out after completing. I've never disconnected the GPU from the motherboard. I can see that my display is currently connected to my integrated GPU, but I can't change it to my 3080 from these settings. All I can do is disable it, but I don't want to select that yet just in case it just ruins everything.

Those are pretty good results.

Sometimes Windows does something in the background (maybe a scheduled task or applying an update to something or another) which would engage a fraction of the system resources and that would cause some fluctuation in the results of benchmarks.
