My computer isn't running as well as it should be.

I wanted to play Battlefield 4 on high/medium settings with at least 40 fps but I'm not getting anywhere near that. I'm getting around 20 fps on very low settings so I feel like there is something wrong with my computer. It's not only BF4, I can't play pretty much any game unless it's on the lowest settings.

Here are my specs:
A780L3C Ver 7.0 Motherboard
AMD Anthlon(tm) II X3 450 Processor
8.00 GB Kingston RAM
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 1GB

try upgrading your cpu or change your cooler it may be bottlenecking your gpu

How about your PSU, temperature, and the resolution your playing at?

CPU is low end.
GPU is low-medium. Should still do 40fps on medium at 720p though.
What PSU do you have. A cheap unit (doesnt matter how many watts they say it can output on the sticker) is not designed to output a constant heavy load like gaming requires, not to mention it lacks the over/under voltage and current protections. In short, dont go cheap on the part that can destroy everything else.
