Whenever I'm doing something high-maintenance on my computer (although it has also happened at random), my screen turns black and my GPU fans go up to the maximum. The only way to stop this is by turning off the computer from the power button, but after it's turned off power is still being supplied to the motherboard (The RGB stays on). After turning off the power switch on the actual power adapter, it's still on. Turning the power adaptor back on causes the motherboard RGB to go white for a split second, and then turn off. I believe this is a hardware issue, as slight percussive maintenance has also caused this to happen. Does anyone know if this could be caused by a strain on the PCIe Cable? My case is slightly too small for my card due to how thick the fans on the side panel are, so when we put it together my dad just pushed the fans into the cable to get the panel into place. Could it also be due to not having a powerful enough PSU?
Any replies are appreciated!
