My computer keeps crashing

hi . i have an old pc and i received a blue screen error and it made some strange noises. i read on the web that it may be dust on my drivers. the crash happens every time i try to play a game, also mozzila firefox is crashing very often. and i also have some scrinject(i think trojans) viruses in my quarantine. i know it's strange, but please help me fix this, im not experienced. thank you any way and sorry if i spelled something wrong

What are your CPU and GPU temps?

Run memtest for atleast 3 passes to test the RAM as this is a major cause of crashes as well.

my specs are: processor AMD Semprom(tm) 2800+ MMX 3dnow, ~2.0GHz
memory: 512 mb ram
GPU:nvidia geforce fx 5200, 128 MB

i downloaded GPU-z to see but it didn't show

Thats weird. Try MSI afterburner.

Use coretemp for the CPU.

Clean your graphics card, you may have a cap of dust formed in its heatsink and it's preventing the heat to go away.

To be honest, your system isn't really cut out for gaming. That CPU will bottleneck about any modern GPU. And the GPU you have is VERY old and weak.

I think this is an overheating issue. Is the system shutting down or crashing to desktop?

What? I asked if the system is turning off or just crashing to the desktop. There is no 'proper' crash.

Your PSU may be failing, or its the temps. Use those programs and tell me what the max load temps are.

i think i figured out why i can't see gpu temp. i think it was not manufactured with temp sensors.
