My computer keeps dropping the internet connection even though it is strong. Is it a bug on Windows 7?

Every day especially when typing, the internet connection will drop off. This happens frequently and randomly. I have moved offices and it makes no difference. I have changed routers and it makes no difference. I am beginning to suspect a problem with the Windows 7 programme, although my other computer has Windows 7 and has no problem at all. Any ideas?

Check the advanced power setting and make sure its not set to save power on your wireless. It could be called disabled, suspend, turn off...
If this is a usb wireless then be sure to turn off usb selective suspend in adv power options/USB section; then in dev manager go to the usb root hubs and uncheck the allow the pc to turn off this device option in the hubs properties.

Thank you popatim for your advice. I did as you said but I still lost the signal. I seem to regain it when I unplug my modem cable and then plug it back in.
