My computer lags when im playing games

I recently built my computer and ONLY when im playing games it spikes up to 2000 ping.
When i check my connection, it was stable at 14ms.

Could it be my connection?

ASUS prime z270
ASUS Strix 2G OC
i5 7400
ASUS PCE-AC55BT
Kingston KVR 8GB ram
WINDOWS 7 64 HOME

Try using Ethernet, if that solves the issue then it's definitely a problem with your wireless card.

Hey, thanks for replying. The thing is that i just changed from a powerline adapter to the ASUS PCE-AC55BT and still the same result. But i will try. I bought all my parts just a week ago as well.
