My computer locks up for 30 seconds then comes back to. Computer aslo will 100% freeze.

For about a month now my computer has been locking up from time to time for about 30-45 seconds and will go back to normal. WHen it freezes i can still hear my music move my cursor but i cannot ctrl alt del. When i crtl alt del nothing happens until it comes back then the sceen will pop up giving me the option to enter the task manager. Then when i try to play games on it Path of Exile, Overwatch, The Division and Player Unknowns BattleGrounds it will freeze completely. I have done A memory check, Mother board check and ran a windows repair. I went and checekd to see if there was a crash erport and all i got from it was that windows didnt shut down properly.

Crossfire setups like to give errors. I don't think it's the case. I had the same issues and windows reinstalation worked for me. I think that's the case.

I've already tried that and it did not work. The locking up really only happens when i use Chrome. But the it freezes to the point where i have to restart started to happen once my old SSD died and i had to use my old raptor hard drive until i got the EVO. I still had the raptor plugged in and im kinda hoping that that was the problem but i have a feeling that that is not he problem.

I have not. Honestly it's hit or miss. Some days it doesn't freeze, some days it freezes every 10 minutes. Weird thing is my dad's computer started doing the same thing.
