My Computer Overheating?

So a couple days ago my computer kept crashing cause of a virus and I thought my computer was just overheating. I got rid of the virus and my pc blows out cool air but when I play games the top blows out very warm air causing the pc to freeze and I have to restart.. All the other fans or blowing out cool air but not this one, and yes I know warn air rises but it shouldn't be causing my pc to crash.

Any direction on what to do?

replace thermal compound, maybe new cooler, add case fans, clean case

I forgot to add that this only happens when playing games.
