My computer randomly freezes for a few seconds

My computer randomly freezes for a few seconds. sound stops, video stops, mice stops.

SPECS:
Intel(R) Core™ i7-6800k
16GB DDR4 RipJaws
Motherboard: MSI Gaming Pro Carbon
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti
Windows 10

Check startup programs and disable anything that isn't truly needed. Does the HDD light blink fast or indicate it is in heavy use? Try temporarily disabling your anti-virus.

Nothing is overloaded and the light is not blinking at all. All I have is windows defender.

Is this sudden problem and everything was working fine before? It's possible a Windows 10 update is to blame, they seem to be having some difficulties with it still. Maybe run a full scan with malwarebytes.
