So I was playing R6 on my PC but suddenly it crashed amd shut down. Now it's been a couple of hours since the issue, I reset the BIOS but it is still dead. I found this "liquid" or something on my motherboard, and now I think this is the problem, but I am not sure what it is or is it normal. The motherboard is less then a year old...

Solution
Hi

I would not expect to find liquid on a motherboard
Could be a liquid spill
Cat peeing onthe system
Or a capacitor failing
Look at capacitors near the cpu under a bright light

Any capacitors with bulges or splits especially near liquid on motherboard mean capacitor failure which should not occur on a new motherboard
See if it can be returned to manufacturer or supplier under warantee

If out of warrantee some companies can replace the capacitors for you at less than the cost of a new motherboard
(Not ecconomic to repair cheap motherboards)
