My Computer seems to turn off whenever it feels like it!

I have a major problem my computer will just shuts off whenever it feels like it.
My computer:
CPU: Intel i5-2500k at 3.3GHz
GPU: EVGA Geforce 560ti
Motherboard: ECS P67H2-A2
OS: Windows 7

It does it most of the time when i play games. but the thing that is weird games that i would get 60+ frames on, I now get like 5 frames. This shutting down process was from when I brought my computer to my friends house to a LAN Party. once i got there the computer wouldn't even finish booting and then it would die. I am 99% sure that the computer is not overheating. I have never updated my bios but I can't for some reason because ECS says not to if you are on the verison that i am on.

So anything you can do would be great thanks.

What are your CPU and GPU temps under load?

Also what is your PSU? Brand and model.

I think it's your PSU.

It was a CPU overheating problem. I had to reattach the CPU fan to the CPU in order to fix it.
