Hello,

Recently I had to get a new video card for my computer after the one I originally had shorted out inside the motherboard, Everything seemed to be fine until the computer just shuts down without any warning. IT totally dies. Then when I try starting it up again it starts but the monitor won't go on. Can someone please tell me if they had this problem and how can I fix it?

Currently I got the Galaxy 210 video card 1 gig DDR2
I have a PNY motherboard
600 Watt PS
2 gigs of Ram

PSU is most likely the problem. It may not be that the PSU is dying, but it could be that it is not able to deliver all the power that is needed to run this new GPU plus everything else for you. Unfortunately, not all PSU's are made the same.. this 600W could really only be a 200W PSU for all you know.
